Since I’m still feeling blue and can only breathe through one nostril, I decided to make a warm lunch in the shape of rice porridge. I soaked some brown rice last night and cooked it until it was soft and smooth. As broccoli doesn’t take much time to cook, I diced it up and added it to the porridge when the rice was just about done. Of course, I couldn’t resist adding some cloves of garlic and ginger root for a taste kick along with a dash of black pepper and salt. Yum, delicious!
